About the Role: The Warehouse Employee AM plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse during morning shifts in San Juan, PR. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting overall supply chain effectiveness. The role requires close collaboration with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Employee AM contributes to a smooth workflow by preparing orders for shipment and assisting with inventory audits. Ultimately, this position supports the company’s commitment to timely delivery and customer satisfaction through meticulous warehouse management. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly. * Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret shipping documents. * Availability to work morning shifts as scheduled. Preferred Qualifications: * Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse machinery. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software. * Experience in a fast-paced distribution center environment. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Responsibilities: * Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and inspecting for damages. * Organize and store products in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility. * Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. * Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records. * Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping deadlines. Skills: The required skills such as physical stamina and basic math are essential for handling daily warehouse tasks like lifting, sorting, and verifying shipments accurately. Attention to detail ensures that orders are picked and packed correctly, minimizing errors and returns. Communication skills facilitate effective teamwork and coordination with supervisors and peers to meet operational goals.
