Warehouse Engineering Associate American Cruise Lines is a rapidly growing, nationwide company that is seeking a responsible and detailed orientated shipping and receiving specialist for our Essex, CT warehouse. We are looking for an organized person who has experience dealing with inventorying, picking, and packing machine parts. This person is responsible for managing engineering inventory of the warehouse, as well as assisting with other daily shipping responsibilities. The person must have general knowledge of Microsoft Excel and have a working understanding of inventory management information systems and data collection. Good communication skills are a must. You will also have the opportunity to make recommendations to senior management for efficiency and process improvements. These values shape our culture, our service, and our people, guiding us as we work together to Share America’s Story on the Finest American Ships.   Responsibilities: * Package and ship warehouse inventory while maintaining par levels. * Track and confirm delivery of orders and shipments to vessels. * Generate inventory & shipping reports; update shipping logs. * Create shipping lists, packing slips, shipping labels & other documentation. Qualifications: * Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. * Excellent time management skills. * Strong organizational and analytical skills. * Experience in parts/machinery warehousing, i.e. automotive, engineering, or marine warehouse. * Highly motivated. * Ability to lift 55 pounds. * Ability to solve problems. * Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. * Must have a valid motor vehicle license. * Must be located within commutable distance of Essex, CT. * Forklift experience a must, certification preferred Why Join American Cruise Lines?
