Job Details Job Location: Long Island City - Long Island City, NY 11101 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Warehouse Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process stock products Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits Ability to keep a clean and safe working environment Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Qualifications Must be able to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment, current forklift license is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 50lbs) Good organizational and time management skills Familiar with construction building supplies a plus At least HS or equivalent preferred Dependable and reliable Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
Responsibilities
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping. Receive and process stock products while maintaining inventory controls and quality standards.
