Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have experience with large trucks and dealership experience.
  • Understanding of parts for large trucks a must.
  • Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
  • Above average computer skills. Used to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other required computer work.
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and control workflow. Delegation of tasks. Distribute workforce as needed throughout department.
  • Supervise staff to ensure work is timely, effective, and in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees on procedures.
  • Train, rotate and cross-train staff on each aspect of the warehouse processes for all shifts.
  • Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals for department.
  • Foster a culture of accountability.
  • Ensuring that all tools and equipment in warehouse are safe and operational.
  • Assist in operations as necessary to achieve department goals.
