Warehouse / Forklift Driver (Full-Time/Mid Shift)

Our client based in Aylesford, is looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to commence work on a temp to perm basis.

The client is recruiting for the following shifts:

• Mids – Monday to Friday – 17.00pm to 02.30am and every other Saturday – 15.00pm to 00.30am = Salary - £30,990.96.

Duties:

• The work will involve loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
• Checking goods are secure and performing equipment checks, including basic maintenance.
• Following written instructions and keeping records.
• Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately.

Applicant Requirements:

• Warehouse and/or distribution experience (+2 years).
• Some order picking knowledge (+2 years).
• An accredited in date counterbalance forklift licence.
• Counterbalance forklift driving (and licence)
• Bendi Truck (Desirable but not essential)
• Warehouse work experience necessary.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to operate and control equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.

Additional Information:

• Weekly pay, until the permanent contract secured.
• Salary will be reviewed in April.
