Description

At imagina Group, we have more great stories across our ventures than we currently tell.

We're looking for a Social Content Lead to change that.

Working across our multiple ventures, their audiences and subject-matter experts, you'll find the people, ideas, insights, properties and moments that can become great content. You'll own organic social and content end-to-end - strategy, content calendar, camera, edit, copy, community and analytics.

Reporting to the Group Brand Director, you'll set the direction and do the hands-on work, turning what's happening across our businesses into content that builds audience, trust and visibility.

You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on creation, using AI tools, emerging technology and performance data to raise both the quality and output of what we create.

This is a role for someone who understands the strategy but really loves making the work.

Social moves quickly. So will you. One day you might be filming a quick expert take for LinkedIn. The next, capturing a property story, jumping on a relevant trend, building a short-form series or turning one good conversation into five pieces of content.

And you'll be curious about what comes next. Social discovery is changing. Content trends move fast. Algorithms evolve. AI is rapidly reshaping the creator toolkit. We're looking for someone already experimenting with AI-assisted ideation, editing, clipping, transcription, repurposing, analytics - and whatever comes next.

But you understand that technology is the accelerator. Human judgement, creativity and storytelling are what make the content worth watching.

What you'll own

You'll take the lead on our organic social and content direction, idea to execution to insight.

  • Own and evolve organic social and content strategy across imagina's ventures
  • Build a forward-looking content calendar, with room to move when trends and opportunities emerge
  • Find the stories - don't wait for someone to hand you a brief
  • Shoot and edit social-first video, photography, interviews, explainers and other formats
  • Write strong hooks, scripts, captions and platform-native copy
  • Manage publishing, community engagement and how our brands show up day-to-day
  • Test creative, formats and hooks, using performance data to make the next piece better
  • Create, edit and repurpose content efficiently, using AI and emerging tools wherever they earn their place
  • Stay ahead of content trends, social search, audience behaviour and platform shifts

What you'll bring

  • Around 3-5 years' experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing, agency-side or in-house
  • A body of work that shows what you can create, not just what you've managed
  • Strong hands-on capability with short-form video, photography and editing - you're comfortable picking up a camera or phone and making something happen
  • Sharp copy and storytelling instincts. You know why the hook matters, why the first few seconds matter and when something feels too corporate
  • A performance mindset - you use data and audience insights to understand what's working, what isn't and what to try next
  • Curiosity about AI and the evolving creator stack - and how technology can help you create smarter, move faster and produce better work

Most importantly, you have taste, curiosity and initiative.

Where you'll land

You'll join GRAVITY, imagina Group's internal brand, content, communications and customer experience stewardship.

imagina Group brings together ventures and their people across property, finance and management, including DPN property investment, the business where our story began.

We're established enough to have substance, expertise and plenty of stories worth telling - but evolving quickly enough that there is still a lot to create.

Along the way, you’ll also enjoy:

  • Stunning designer offices by the beach in Cronulla
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements
  • Paid birthday leave
  • Regular team celebrations and events
  • Employee Assistance Program

Sound like your kind of feed? Show us what you've done. Along with your CV, we'd love to see examples of content you've created - an insight into your taste. Show us what you made, tell us what you owned, and why you think it worked.

Employer questions

Your application will include the following questions:

  • Tell us about a piece of social content you’ve created that you’re proud of. What did you create, what did you personally own, and why do you think it worked?
  • What’s a content trend, platform feature or AI tool you’ve experimented with recently? What did you learn or do differently as a result?
  • What are your earnings expectations for this role, base + superannuation?
  • What notice period do you have in your current position?

  • A strong portfolio across short-form social video, long-form storytelling and campaign content.
  • Hands-on, power-user experience with AI tools across editing, captioning, repurposing, copywriting and scheduling in a commercial setting.
  • Strong skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, plus working knowledge of motion graphics, audio capture and on-set production.
  • Experience managing content on LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube and short-form platforms, and comfort reading performance analytics.
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Film or Media Production, Journalism or a related field is desirable, or equivalent practical experience and portfolio.
  • A self-directed, commercially minded and inquisitive outlook, with confidence directing on-camera talent including senior executives. Experience in financial or professional services is favourable.
