Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Freight Unloader to join our team. The Freight Unloader will be responsible for unloading freight from trucks and ensuring that the freight is properly sorted and stored. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Unload freight from trucks and transport it to the appropriate storage area - Sort and organize freight according to destination and type - Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move freight - Ensure that all freight is properly labeled and stored - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times Hours: We work 7 days a week. 7am - finish (approx. 4-5pm). Schedule would be discussed at the interview, we try to be flexible passed on individual schedules. One weekend day will required. Pay starts hourly ($18) while training. Hard workings will succeed. Previous experience in a warehouse or freight handling environment preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
