WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools.
Position Reports to: Distribution Center Manager
Hourly Range: $18-$20/DOQ
Position to remain posting until February 28, 2025
Purpose: The Warehouse Clerk is a cross-functional position trained in multiple areas of the operation, order fulfillment, order packaging, order picking, cycle counting, receiving and various warehouse operations. This role primary responsibility will be the safe, secure, and accurate fulfillment of customer’s orders, stock transfer, accurately receiving purchase orders. The associate will also be cross-trained in a variety of processes within the operation and will be trained to perform a number of activities including the inbound receipt and replenishment of unit and case inventory, picking orders via a hand held RF device or manual pick sheet, packing and prepping customer parcels for shipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 18 years old
• Push and pull up to 200 lbs.
• Lift, slide and carry up to 75 lbs
• Constantly bend, reach, and stand throughout the shift.
• Work a full shift which could range from 8-10 hours. (Monday thru Friday) (Hours to be determined)
• Follow all codes of conduct, safety parameters, productivity, and quality standards, as well as attendance points.
• Warehousing: 1 year
• Order Pulling: 1 year
• Parcel packaging: Preferred
• Forklift (High Rise Stock Picker): 1 year
• Forklift (Sit Down): 1 year
• Computer literacy: Microsoft office, WMS, Shipping software
• LTL shipping: Preferred

Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, participation in group insurance plans upon eligibility, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave and more. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. • Packing orders to ensure that customers receive order intact in a short time frame and accurate as possible while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Downsizing packaging so that shipping costs are minimal without sacrificing the quality and insurance that the product will be delivered without damages to the customer.
• Accurately picking items from a large inventory.
• Safely build pallet for larger orders/Transfers.
• Ship confirm(complete) orders to the customer with provided warehouse software.
• Meet daily goals to get orders/transfer shipped on time.
• Quality assurance during packaging.
• Keeping work zone clean and orderly to promote a safe and clean work environment
• Communicating with supervisor with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the supervisor
