JOB SUMMARY

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Goods in Stock Controller to join DWUK. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on warehouse environment but also enjoys administrative tasks and has an analytical mindset. You will play a vital part in the smooth operation of the warehouse managing all aspects of goods in and stock control. You will be process-oriented with a solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and have a good attention to detail and problem solving.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stock control role
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock control
  • Highly organised
  • Motivated and have a positive attitude to work
  • A good communicator and work well as part of a team
  • Good working knowledge of systems including office 365
  • Preferred forklift licence

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all incoming deliveries, check and ensure matches to Purchase orders
  • Maintain real-time stock records and escalate any discrepancies
  • Put away goods received in designated locations in the warehouse
  • Completing stock takes and maintaining accurate records of stock
  • Quality control of products received
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls and emails
  • Liaise with purchasing team
  • Accurately pick, pack and label goods ready for dispatch, ensuring high standards and with correct documentation
  • Promote Safe Systems of Work (SSOW’s) in the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse, including waste management
  • Perform general warehouse and administrative duties to support the warehouse operations
