Full job description

The Warehouse Helper is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, handling, picking, packing, and dispatching raw materials, mattress components, finished mattresses, and other warehouse items. The position requires physical fitness, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in receiving and unloading raw materials, accessories, and other goods delivered to the warehouse.

- Load, unload, move, and arrange mattresses and materials safely within the warehouse.

- Assist in storing materials such as foam, fabric, springs, packing materials, and other mattress components in designated locations.

- Pick and prepare materials required for mattress production according to instructions.

- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing finished mattresses for delivery.

- Support the loading of finished mattresses and other products onto delivery vehicles.

- Maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage areas.

- Check quantities and report any damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.

- Assist with stock counting and physical inventory activities.

- Follow proper handling procedures to prevent damage to mattresses and materials.

- Ensure materials are kept in their designated locations for easy identification and access.

- Follow company health, safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times.

- Use warehouse equipment and tools only as instructed and authorized.

- Assist other warehouse and production staff whenever required.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Experience in a mattress, furniture, textile, or manufacturing company will be an advantage.

- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy materials.

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

- Good awareness of workplace safety and proper material handling.

- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
