WORK TYPE: Onsite WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 8PM - 4:30PM Description: As a member of the Warehouse team, the Inventory Control (IC) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient product flow within the Distribution Center. The IC Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, auditing physical and system inventory, and supporting operational teams by identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies. Responsibilities: • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts • Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and partner with Operations to prevent recurrence • Execute inventory adjustments and reconciliation efforts within established protocol • Audit and maintain location accuracy, slotting integrity, and putaway compliance • Collaborate with Receiving, Picking, Shipping, and Operations teams to resolve inventory-related issues Requirements: • Strong attention to detail with an accuracy-driven and analytical mindset • Ability to interpret data and reports to identify trends and risks • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong working knowledge of Excel • Ability to work in a structured, process-oriented environment • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work seasonal mandatory overtime as needed • Ability to learn tasks quickly and work effectively as part of a team • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers • Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend in English Knowledge / Experience / Education: • Understanding of inventory control procedures, cycle count programs, and internal controls • Experience using RF scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) • 2-3 years of relevant warehouse or inventory control experience preferred • Certified Forklift Operator or willingness to become certified • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10+ hours per day) • Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. regularly from floor to waist level • Ability to work at heights up to 30-40 feet • Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and body on a regular basis • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (reach and wave trucks, order pickers, etc.) • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment #LI-NU1 Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
