JOB DESCRIPTION

A warehouse inventory associate systematically counts, inspects, adjusts, and records inventory to verify the accuracy of the sellable products within the warehouse. An inventory associate’s job is to help the company ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory. This position requires a weekend work schedule but offers a flexible weekday schedule that can be seasonally adjusted to meet the company’s needs while providing a sustainable work-life balance.

Responsibilities

The Inventory Associate will play a role in many warehouse operations and inventory controls, from receiving products to order fulfillment, in conjunction with other members of our Receiving Department and Inventory Control Team. Included within the position’s duties and responsibilities:
· Perform systematic cycle counting of inventory on a daily basis.
· Understand and comply with all standard operating procedures.
· Assist with identifying problems, such as damage, shortages, or inaccurate product information.
· Communicate respectfully and effectively with other employees and help them with inventory related issues on demand.
· Assisting other employees with locating items within the warehouse.
· Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing all finished products when applicable.
· Maintain and update detailed inventory records within the Company’s warehouse management software (WMS) and correct discrepancies between physical inventory and computerized WMS records.
· Assist with maintaining our inventory database by providing information on product codes, expiration dates, pallet configurations, and other details.
· Alerting supervisors of any immediate issues that could undermine our commitment to customer service.
· Assist with researching and resolving any inaccuracies in inventory and internal processes, where applicable, by following established procedures.
· Assist with ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking and product movement procedures.
· Assist with the resolution of discrepancies in inventory procedures and/or outcomes.
· Verify that all inventory is maintained in an orderly fashion and stored at the correct temperature within the required climate-controlled environment.
· Be aware of all warehouse safety requirements and promptly report any potential risks.
· Maintain a clean environment, especially in any areas where products are stored.
· Continually strive to improve processes for improved safety and quality control.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per year
