Description

Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking Inbound Warehouse Associates in our USA Parkway location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Lead Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of warehouse inventory operations. This position supports the Inventory Manager by leading daily research and reporting tasks, coordinating inventory investigations, and ensuring inventory discrepancies are resolved in a timely, accurate manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a proactive problem solver, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced distribution environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Beginner to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical skills including pattern recognition, trend analysis, and variance tracing.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of AIMSplus WMS.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset and a professional demeanor.
  • Physically able to meet standard warehouse associate requirements (standing, lifting, etc.).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with strong personal integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead or support role involving inventory research or auditing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Inventory Manager with daily reporting and research activities.
  • Review and analyze daily inventory reports to identify variances or anomalies.
  • Compile and organize data to support investigative research based on defined parameters.
  • Assign, monitor, and support inventory research tasks performed by Inventory Control team members.
  • Conduct inventory research and ad-hoc cycle counts as needed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records for counts, research, and audit activities.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex discrepancies to the Inventory Manager promptly.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to perform inventory audits and validations.
  • Contribute to ongoing inventory accuracy initiatives and process improvement efforts across all teams.
