Description

OVERVIEW

You will be expected to achieve high standards of quality, in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability. You will be working as part of a team and you are expected to contribute to improving any working processes.
This is 38 hours per week on the day shift (Monday - Thursday 07:30 am to 4:15 pm and Friday 07:30 am to 12:30 pm)

EXPERIENCE

  • Background in manufacturing
  • Experience in inventory control

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Computer Literate
  • Time Management
  • Competent in operation of all the Counterbalance and VNA / FLT and safety escape procedures. (FLT License is required, VNA preferred)
  • Comfortable with working at heights
  • Good verbal and listening skills

Responsibilities
  • Driving fork lift trucks.
  • Operating the warehouse VNA trucks and the delivery tow tractor.
  • Establishing delivered goods that require inspection.
  • Accurate stocking of delivered goods, both as data and physically process.
  • Receiving internally manufactured goods.
  • Verifying quantities of internally manufactured goods.
  • Accurate stocking of internally manufactured goods.
  • Ensuring accuracy of goods being held in stock.
  • Ensuring stocked goods are correctly located.
  • Ensuring stocked goods are safely located.
  • Timely internal distribution of goods from stock.
  • Frequent lifting in accordance with our manual handling training and packing into crates and various containers.
  • Keeping work area tidy and free from unnecessary items.
  • Dealing with busy periods by prioritising work and seeking/providing assistance from/to other team members.
  • Contribute in a team working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Load Lorries and complete required documentation.
  • To share knowledge and/or best practice with other team members.
