Description Position Summary Manages the warehouse and inventory functions within the terminal including areas of compliance, safety, and leadership. Works under the supervision of the Terminal Manager but generally works independently using sound judgment in making decisions and maintaining confidentiality. Essential Functions Operations Management Assist operations in meeting and exceeding company metric goals (QOS, TDI, etc) Manage daily operations, troubleshooting and taking care of hot button issues arising during the course of day which may involve dispatch, safety, service, backhauls, customer or compliance issues Oversee scrap removal process Warehouse Employees Train, develop and retain a strong Warehouse Team Responsible for employee compliance to company policies and procedures: including Employee Handbook Manage Scorecard process and daily use Inventory Accountable for Non Customer Response’s process Ensures customer delivery is rescheduled Monitor appliance inventory to ensure accuracy and verify progress throughout warehouse In-Bound Staging Holding Area Customer Property Backhaul / Sold As-Is Customer Orders Contact Delivery Teams with stage route assignments Oversee Anti-tip compliance, Check-In Process INS receipts for returned product Conduct Cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies, Cycle counts must be 100% Manage Installation Parts Maintain / Check Inventory – order as necessary Distribute installation parts/kits Review parts and charges to Delivery Teams with Operations Manager Safety Responsible for overall workplace safety and compliance performance for each assigned location Acts as a conduit for employee workplace safety concerns and is responsible for improving workplace safety efforts Enforces, coaches, mentors, trains others as needed to improve individual and group safety performance Leads by example as a role model for safe workplace behavior Other Duties as Assigned
