We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager to take ownership of inventory integrity, warehouse standards, people leadership and continuous improvement across our operations.

This is a key leadership position reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, with responsibility for ensuring our warehouse and inventory functions are accurate, efficient, safe and continually improving.

About the opportunity

You will lead the warehouse and inventory function across a broad range of operational activities, including:

  • Leading, coaching and developing the warehouse and inventory team
  • Driving inventory accuracy through stock takes, cycle counting and reconciliation
  • Overseeing put-away, stock rotation, stock checks and inventory integrity
  • Investigating stock discrepancies, claims and root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Managing warehouse fleet, forklifts and associated equipment, including maintenance and compliance
  • Overseeing RF scanning equipment and warehouse technology
  • Maintaining racking integrity and warehouse safety standards
  • Using inventory data and trends to identify slow-moving, short-coded and at-risk stock
  • Driving continuous improvement across inventory control, warehouse processes, layout and equipment utilisation
  • Working closely with Operations, Quality & Food Safety, Procurement, Customer Service and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring warehouse activities meet GMP, food safety, quality and WHS requirements
  • Providing warehouse and inventory insights to support broader operational decision-making.

About you

You are an experienced warehouse or inventory leader who can combine strong operational knowledge with sound commercial and people leadership skills.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven warehouse or inventory management experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading or supervising a warehouse team
  • Strong knowledge of WMS and RF scanning technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly around inventory discrepancies and claims
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on inventory accuracy
  • The ability to confidently make decisions and drive process improvements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with warehouse equipment, maintenance requirements and safety compliance
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy operational environment
  • A current LF forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one.
