Description Hadco Metal Trading, a long-stable distributor of semi-finished metals and plastics, recognized domestically and globally for their extensive inventory (20,000 distinct items) and expedited delivery service for customers with "just-in-time" needs, is looking to hire an experienced inventory or logistics professional for their daily operations. The Warehouse Inventory& Office Clerk will work on-site in their Bakersfield facility from 10am-7pm M-F. Hadco Metal Trading distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Hadco Metal Trading branches are located strategically in the East, Midwest and West, allowing nationwide presence and coverage. Position Summary: Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies using our ERP system. Role & Responsibilities: · Receive new material and accurately enter information into ERP system. · Maintain accurate inventory records for available material within our ERP system. · Compare inventory to office records, using sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to maintain accurate inventory. · Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust inventory as necessary. · Investigate and report adjustments as needed. · Verify and document information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and compute inventory balance, price, and cost.
