Description What Will You Do? The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for providing superior customer service levels by executing inventory functions with a high level of detail and accuracy, maintaining an organized and picking efficient inventory while reducing losses and inefficiencies. To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for: Perform monthly equipment and parts inventory cycle counts, completing discrepancy review and reconciliation. Communicate inventory results and data effectively to management and sales. Execute daily inventory and product verifications to support service teams, vendors, accounting, etc. Develop and grow product knowledge base. Monitor and review inventory control processes to support company initiatives and objectives. Create and manage inventory transactions including product movement and adjustment. Direct storage and location of stock inventory based on frequency of usage. Monitor stocked inventory volume to maintain proper organization. Accountable for bin management (accuracy, identification, clean and organized). Facilitate reports to maintain inventory accuracy, product bin assignment, and bin location management. Support sales with inventory obsolescence management. Responsible for managing defective material and product returns, scraping inventory as directed. Manage and process vendor returns. Employees in our Service and Operations departments are eligible for a monthly incentive program based on performance. Requirements What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements: Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required. Experience: At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Proven inventory management experience, including accurate tracking and reconciliation of stock. Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, with adherence to all safety protocols. Previous experience in roles that require strong organizational skills and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
