Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. This position works closely with production and other departments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. Schedule Monday – Thursday 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or as business needs require. Essential Responsibilities Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy Pick, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment Load and unload trucks safely Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided if qualified) Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records Use computers and warehouse software to complete transactions Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Assist other departments as needed to support business operations Requirements Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred) Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents Preferred: Experience in fiberglass, plastics, or heavy manufacturing environments Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Oracle, or similar) Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Good communication skills with production and logistics teams Basic problem-solving skills Time management and ability to prioritize tasks Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to operate material handling equipment safely Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
Responsibilities
