This position is responsible for retrieving materials to create assembly kits for the manufacturing floor as well as retrieving other materials, as needed, which are necessary for the manufacturing process. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Gathers product components for assembly based on pick list and work orders Counts parts to determine inventory accuracy Maintains accurate inventory database Prints and attaches labels to accurately identify parts Identify and communicate discrepancies to supervisor Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
