Description MISSION To safely and accurately stack, store & deliver tires. Processing incoming orders from vendors and outgoing orders for customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Driver for OTR Tires & Truck Tires- Day routes (Class A CDL required) Receive, unpack, check, and store tires Fill requisitions and orders, preparing inventory for delivery Assist with loading/unloading of orders Safely operate forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers Maintain a clean warehouse Protect company assets Organizational Skills are desired (but not required) Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Minimum Education: High School Minimum Job-Specific Experience: Preferred - not required Inventory Management: Preferred - not required Driver’s License Required: YES Forklift Experience: Preferred - not required REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (KSA’s) Job-Specific KSA’s: Identifying Objects, Actions, & Events – Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events. Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment – Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, squeeze lifts, and order pickers. Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Communication KSA’s: English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Writing & Speaking — Communicating effectively in writing and interpersonal speaking as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
