Description

We are hiring a Warehouse Lead Associate to help us meet the needs of our growing enterprise, who can aid the Warehouse and Operations team to meet deadlines, operate production machinery, and maintain daily shipping and receiving procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

· High School Graduate Diploma/ GED
· Microsoft Office– especially Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
· Able to lift 50lbs.
· Available M-F 8am-5pm
· Warehouse experience
· Forklift certification or experience
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to meet deadlines in an efficient and organized manner
· Comfortable working in both a team environment as well as occasional solitary duties

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· Experience with freight and small parcel booking programs or portals such as Freightcom, UPS WorldShip, FEDEX, Purolator.
· Familiarity with international shipping procedures, including customs documentation, import/export regulations, and cross-border compliance, is highly desirable.
· Experience with ERP systems and inventory management
· Confident in ability to lift and carry items 50+lbs on a frequent basis
This is a warehouse position, which requires reliability, flexibility and self-sufficiency.
The role requires someone confident in their ability to multi-task, and to communicate effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week

Responsibilities

· Operating machinery
· Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse under WHMIS standards
· Drive forklift to load trucks and to stock shelves
· LTL Order collection
· Small Parcel Order collection and Shipping
· Meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
· Maintain and organize inventory with first-in first-out rotation
· Cycle Counts
· Work with Production team to supply replenishment throughout day
· Stock supply shelves for warehouse and production team
· Other warehouse duties as required
_ responsible to be able to perform Warehouse/Production Manager duties when required. Duties include but not limited to:_
· LTL Order Shipping and Processing
· Use of computers to process Sales orders and Purchase orders
· Verify production counts and production worker reports
· Monitor inventory and notify management of items needing to be ordered
· Work with Microsoft-Teams and Microsoft Office 365 programs to update reports and keep in communication with team members
· Coordinate production with team members
· Receive deliveries and verify purchase order quantities
