Location: Plant City, FL Shift: 2nd Shift Pay range: $21.50-25.00 POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations while actively participating in material handling activities. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time while leading and supporting the warehouse team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform all material handler duties, including forklift operation, loading/unloading, and receiving * Supervise and support warehouse team members during the shift * Resolve and/or escalate operational issues as they arise * Train and mentor team members as needed * Responsible for securing and closing facility at the end of the shift * Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment * Communicate effectively with other shifts, departments, and management * Coordinate and prioritize daily workload to meet operational demands * Ensure all shipments and receipts are processed accurately and on schedule * Drive accountability and set clear performance expectations for all team members. * Monitor and enforce safety procedures and company policies * Monitor and enforce adherence to established quality standards and procedures * Monitor and enforce adherence to warehouse work SOPs and cycle times * Inspect loads to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper handling * Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and system transactions QUALIFICATIONS * Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment * Experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks (required) * Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Experience training and coaching team members on processes and procedures * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities * Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required * Experience using or learning ERP systems is a plus * Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment 2nd shift 2pm-11pm
