Full job description

Responsibilities:

· Make sure safety is the number one priority and play an active role in the health and safety strategy of the warehouse

· Very importantly, ensure inventory control is always front of mind and play a central role during the yearly inventory count

· Oversee warehouse operations and staff(ensuring optimal conditions at all times) under the ultimate direction/guidance of the Warehouse Manager

· Coordinateshipping/receivingoptimally, and prepare shipments and shipping documents accurately and as needed

· Load and unload containers as required using the necessary tools and/or equipment

· Report improperlyreceivedshipment or damaged inventory to the Warehouse Manager immediately

· Immediately reportany noticeable safety hazards in the warehouse to the Warehouse Manager

· Suggest ways to improve shipping/receiving processes

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

· Shipping/receiving experience

· Minimum of high school diploma

· Ability to drive a reach and forklift

· Physical stamina (ability to occasionally lift items around 40 lbs)

· High attention to detail

· Proactive personality

· Ability to use a computer and other Office and ERP software

· Some weekend work and willingness to work past regular hours may be occasionally required

· Understanding of shipping/receiving processes

· “Do it Right the First Time” mentality

· Team player

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
