Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Job Description Summary: The Warehouse Lead coordinates and oversees warehouse operations including picking, receiving, and replenishment teams. This role ensures order accuracy, productivity targets, and quality standards are met while supporting team members and maintaining efficient warehouse workflows. Responsibilities and Duties · Coordinate daily picking, receiving, and replenishment assignments and workflows · Lead and schedule team activities across multiple warehouse functions · Train new staff on procedures, systems, and safety protocols · Monitor picking accuracy, receiving accuracy, and productivity metrics · Perform quality audits on picked orders and received shipments · Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and documentation · Troubleshoot system issues and resolve discrepancies · Resolve receiving issues with vendors and carriers · Communicate with warehouse supervisor on daily operations · Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control teams · Assist with inventory cycle counts · Lead by example and provide hands-on support · Ensure proper equipment usage and maintenance · Maintain organized work areas and dock operations · Process urgent or priority shipments · Report productivity and quality metrics to management · Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Required Skills & Qualifications: · Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices · Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS systems · Knowledge of receiving processes and documentation · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Strong problem-solving and communication skills · Ability to train and motivate team members · Ability to manage multiple priorities · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Forklift certification preferred · Additional duties as assigned Preferred Skills and Qualifications: · Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred · Experience in high-volume e-commerce or distribution environment · Experience with vendor management · Knowledge of shipping and receiving regulations · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand for extended periods · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly · Good hand-eye coordination Benefits: Gear Up Sports provides the following employee benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Healthcare Benefits – Effective the first of the month following the date of hire: Health/Vision insurance through Regence BlueCross BlueShield Dental insurance through LifeMap Dental Life, Disability & Accident Insurance through MetLife – effective 1st of the month following date of hire: Group Term Life insurance – company paid Long Term Disability insurance – company paid · Short Term Disability insurance –company paid – provided for employees working in states without state-specific paid family/medical leave programs.
