We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead Hand to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities for a client in Aldersyde. You will ensure that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

• Ensures that operations procedures and processes are followed and enforced daily.
• Liaises with other departments to ensure that all plant expectations are met. Provide feedback to the Supervisor to resolve any issues that arise
• Organize the activities to ensure that all assigned work is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner;
• Fill out paperwork; coordinate/communicate with truck drivers
• Forklift Certified and experience on a sit down counter-balance forklift
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean
• Other duties as assigned

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Min. 2 years experience in a shipping/receiving/coordinating role
• Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
• Computer literacy
• Effective communication in English
