RSS Inc. is urgently hiring for Warehouse Lead Hand role for their leading client’s Warehouse in Mississauga.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience along with 2 to 3 years forklift experience
• At least 1 year of team lead experience managing 10 or more dock workers
• Standing, walking, bending, moving during the shift for work
• Certified safety shoes with steel toe required
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills and computer savvy
• A valid forklift license required
• A clear criminal check

Experience:

• Warehouse Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
• Team management: 1 year (preferred)
• Counterbalance Forklift: 2 years (required)
• Warehouse: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (required)

Work Location: In perso

• Loading crew, assigning them duties, making sure all the trucks are loaded on time
• Fix any problems on the dock with scanning freight
• Fix any dispatch issues that may arise
• Must have experience leading a crew
• Must have a Forklift license and be able to load and offload trailers using Counterbalance Forklift
• Must be computer literate as there will be system work involved
• Supporting the shift Supervisor by managing the dock and personnel
• Working closely with the dispatchers and planners so all trucks are loaded and depart terminal at designated time
