RSS Inc. is urgently hiring Warehouse Lead Hand for their leading clients’ warehouse located in North York, ON.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Warehouse Supervisor in the delegation of daily work assignments
  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment such as Reach truck, Counterbalance Forklift, Dock stocker, Pallet rider, etc.
  • Support the Receiving, Put away, Picking and loading processes within the warehouse
  • Use RF handheld device to process all inventory movement transactions
  • Train new team members or support cross training of team members from other areas of the consolidation center
  • Complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Follow standard warehouse practices and work instructions, to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy are maintained
  • Support ongoing cycle count procedures and document and identify any inventory discrepancies found
  • Support daily pre-shift meetings and act as back up to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding duties according to standard work instructions, such as manually loading and unloading goods from a trailer
  • Ensure that C-TPAT Processes are followed at all times and report any non-conformance to the supervisor immediately
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure Teknion’s external and internal customer requirements are met
  • Follow all company health and safety protocols, report any incidents and or near misses to the shift supervisor immediately
  • Proactively participate in accident and incident prevention and complete the necessary reports for near misses or incidents
  • Support and contributes to Continuous Improvement initiatives
