Description
Description The Warehouse Lead plays a key role within the Operations team by supporting daily warehouse functions and ensuring inventoried assets are handled with accuracy and care. This position is responsible for prepping equipment for events, checking product quality, maintaining warehouse organization, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and client pickups. The Warehouse Lead also serves as a knowledgeable resource for warehouse procedures and product handling. This is a hands-on role that may also support event installation and dismantle, based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain daily inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation Inspect equipment for cleanliness, damage, and overall readiness Prepare and stage equipment for outgoing events and client pickups Assist with shipping, receiving, and internal equipment transfers Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization are maintained at all times Follow all safety regulations and operational procedures Support the installation and dismantling of events as needed Gain and apply knowledge of all company products and equipment Requirements Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to lead a crew by example and give proper direction to others. Strong attention to details and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated strong Customer Service skills. Ability to maintain a professional, customer-facing appearance and attitude. Strong working knowledge of all products offered by Quest Events. Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot. Demonstrated record of safe practices. Professional appearance. Must be able to speak, write, and understand English fluently Position Variances from Standard Position Summary Physical ability to lift 65 lbs. Physical ability to climb ladders. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays and work variable hours. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS What is required to perform the essential functions. Experience 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or event-related environment preferred Experience with inventory control or shipping/receiving is a plus Education High school diploma or equivalent required
