We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated General Warehouse Lead to join our team in a fast-paced distribution facility. We are looking for an individual with an extensive background in warehouse operations, material handling, and leadership, who can ensure efficient workflow and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize routes and meet daily quotas when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor new warehouse associates on various job responsibilities and safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records and support regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Adapt quickly to different warehouse environments and team workflows, supporting operational needs during peak periods.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment
  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment
  • standing for 8 hours at one time
  • working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
