Purpose of the Role The Warehouse Lead supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring orders are processed accurately, inventory is organized correctly, and team members follow established procedures. This role leads by example on the warehouse floor, helps coordinate daily work, reinforces quality standards, and assists with training new employees. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for maintaining high accuracy and efficiency while fostering a productive and respectful team environment. Key Skills & Competencies Detail Orientation: Prioritizes accuracy and quality in picking, packing, and inventory handling Leadership by Example: Demonstrates strong work ethic and professionalism others will follow Communication (Verbal): Communicates clearly with teammates and management regarding issues or delays Problem Solving: Identifies operational issues and helps resolve them quickly Accountability: Takes ownership of responsibilities and follows through Organization: Maintains structured inventory locations and orderly workspaces Adaptability: Handles changing workloads and operational priorities effectively Key Responsibilities Operational Execution Pick, pack, and ship orders with a high degree of accuracy Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming inventory Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse layout Support cycle counts and inventory verification Quality Control Verify order accuracy before shipment Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies Ensure product labeling and storage standards are followed Team Support Assist with coordinating daily warehouse tasks Provide guidance to team members on processes and procedures Help train new employees on warehouse operations and safety Process Discipline Ensure team members follow standard operating procedures Reinforce an “accuracy first” culture Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements Safety & Workplace Standards Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Follow OSHA safety practices Ensure equipment is operated safely
