Job Description Job Summary This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing/shipping direct orders and orders from stock and maintaining an efficient organized warehouse operation. The person in this position must be able to with limited guidance process orders from stock and direct orders for shipment, relabel and organise stock items, maintain accuracy of inventory, and other general warehouse duties and responsibilities. Additionally the person in this position must have some exposure and knowledge of warehouse operations and/or Veolia processes and procedures. This position does require critical decision making and the ability to lead initiatives within their area of expertise. Duties & Responsibilities Process, package and ship orders accurately. Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately. Inspect products for defects and damages. Examine incoming and outgoing shipments. Organize stocks and maintain inventory. Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Trains, onboards, and instructs new internal and contracted warehouse employees in all aspects of warehouse operations Overseeing the routine maintenance of trucks, forklifts, and scales. Greeting, checking in visitors, and managing visitor logs and keeping the warehouse clean and organized daily. Qualifications Key Characteristics Attention to detail and critical thinking in solving complex logistical problems. Collaborate with the sales, logistics, and order entry teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery. Able to handle returns, exchanges, and refunds with care, following company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction. Communicates via phone, email, and chat in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Comfortable with training, onboarding, and instructing new internal and contracted employees in all aspects of warehouse operations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Lead, Direct, Instruct fellow team members of warehouse operations/best practices. Proficiency with computers (Google or Microsoft Products) required. Experience with a WMS system preferred. Experience working in a warehouse setting required. Experience with advanced warehouse operations and Lean Six Sigma preferred. Education & Experience Required: Highschool diploma or GED required Preferred: 2 to 3 years warehouse experience with supervisor and/or lead duties. Experience working with ERP Systems (SAP or Latis) Working Conditions This is an onsite position at the Raleigh Warehouse. Typical Schedule Monday Thru Friday 8:00 am until 4:30 pm but subject to change. Requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds. Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
