About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Leading Hand to support the day-to-day operation of our Welshpool warehouse and distribution function.


Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll provide frontline leadership to warehouse team members, ensuring inventory is managed accurately and customer orders are prepared and dispatched safely, efficiently and on time.


Duties

  • Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatch activities.
  • Support transport scheduling, freight movements and distribution requirements.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain effective stock control processes.
  • Promote and maintain compliance with WHS, transport regulations and company procedures.
  • Drive operational improvements while supporting hands-on warehouse duties, including forklift operation and pick/pack activities.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and freight processes.
  • Current Forklift Licence with sound safety awareness.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills, ideally gained within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar industry.
