Description

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

He/ She is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring the safe storage, handling, and timely distribution of materials and finished goods. He/she involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and leading a team to meet operational goals. He/ She plays a key role in optimizing warehouse processes to support production needs, reduce costs, and maintain high levels of service quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:

  • Control all incoming and outgoing materials, finished products, and stock lists.
  • Receive incoming inventory items and arrange stock inventory in the proper locations.
  • Ensure that all processes in the store comply with quality standards, including checking inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage.
  • Provide overall master planning of inbound and outbound delivery flow in the warehouse.
  • Ensure the safety of goods to prevent losses, damages, and mishandling.
  • Track all inventory in the appropriate system.
  • Plan and organize the daily delivery schedule.
  • Maintain and update records of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Liaise with purchasing personnel for material arrangements.
  • Issue materials to production as per procedures.
  • Maintain proper 5S housekeeping in the store area.
  • Perform random inventory stock checks every month.
  • Handle all matters related to packing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the accounts department in stock-taking and inventory control processes.
  • Supervise tamper-evident packaging sealing and carton packing processes.
  • Oversee price tag labeling with merchandisers before product deliveries to retail stores.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in health product manufacturing.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of GxP standards (theoretical understanding and practical implementation) related to Warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of documentation and record-keeping requirements in health product warehousing.
  • Experience in inventory management systems (ERP, SAP, WMS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures and stock rotation (FIFO/ FEFO).
  • Ability to coordinate warehouse audits and inspections.
  • Strong ability to lead and train warehouse staff.
  • Problem-solving skills for handling deviations, stock discrepancies, or logistic issues.
  • Understanding of workplace safety protocols, hazardous material handling, and environmental regulations.
  • Willing to get hands-on and contribute to the groundwork when needed.
