Description

Job Purpose: To support the efficient flow of goods through the business, from sales order intake through to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of orders while also supporting the sales team. Monitor shipments, manage inventory, acting as a liaise across functions to ensure smooth operational and process flows.
Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
· Regularly monitor stock inventory accuracy through conducting regular cycle counts and stock take audits. Report outcomes using appropriate charts and reporting methods.
· Monitor and improve warehouse processes, continually improve efficiency and reduce errors.
· Communicate cross functionally (e.g. logistics, purchasing, sales, finance, Cutting Centre) identify process gaps and actively work with stakeholders to development improvement plans.
· Support the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor with training and supporting new and existing staff in changes in processes and procedures.

· Report, review and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as but not exhaustive; Average Time to Pick and Pack, Average Time to book Goods in, Stock Accuracy, Stock Check Frequency and escalate issues as appropriate and necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.

· Support the Warehouse in Maintaining accurate inventory levels.

  • Support the daily Warehouse Operations in the absence of either the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor are away from the business.
  • Responsible for supporting the Warehouse in processing goods returns in a timely manner, working to continually improve performance and processing timelines.
  • Shared ownership of the Maxoptra logistics management software, covering in the absence of the Logistics Manager.
  • To gain AX ERP system super user status, act as a trainer to enhance user interface knowledge appropriate to individuals/business requirements across Warehouse Operations and cross functionally as and when required.
  • Responsible for supporting the Warehouse in processing recycling returns in a timely manner, working to continually improve performance and processing timelines.
  • Support the Investigation and resolution of issues related to delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, or customer complaints.
  • Play an active role in the QM10 process, investigating root causes for process failure and working cross functionally to eliminate re occurrence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the warehouse/operations team and the sales team to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate communication. Proactively manage information flow, clarify priorities, and resolve day-to-day queries to help both teams work more effectively together.
  • Support with the effective management of our internal Certificate of Conformance process and procedures, ensuring all products dispatched are in line with our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Continually review/monitor all sales order lines ensuring delivery methods make most use of consolidation and cost effective and efficient.
  • Support Warehouse and Operations with the introduction and use of Off Cut Management (OCM) and Hand Scanning Systems.

Pay: £27,976.00-£28,500.00 per year
