Job Description Broad Functions and Purpose of Position: The Warehouse & Logistics Executive will oversee inbound, outbound, and internal logistics operations for automotive and industry products, ensuring smooth material flow, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP (MM/WM module) and a strong understanding of automotive supply chain processes. Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations •Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of finished goods. •Ensure proper material handling, binning, and stacking as per safety and OEM guidelines. •Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in monthly/annual physical stock audits. •Maintain 6S and safety standards across the warehouse area. SAP Operations •Create and manage GRN, STO, Transfer Posting, Material Issue, Return & Adjustment transactions. •Run stock reports, inventory reconciliation, and batch/lot tracking using SAP. •Generate delivery challans, picking lists, and invoices through SAP. •Monitor stock accuracy between system and physical quantities. Inbound & Outbound Logistics •Coordinate inbound schedules with suppliers and transporters. •Plan dispatch activities for dealers, and OEM customers. •Track and optimize freight, ensuring timely deliveries and minimal demurrage. •Handle documentation: e-way bills, transport bills, ASN, packing lists. Inventory & Material Planning Support •Assist in demand planning by providing accurate stock visibility and consumption patterns. •Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory; propose action plans. •Ensure availability of critical spare parts through proactive monitoring. Compliance & Reporting •Ensure compliance with GST, transportation laws, and OEM guidelines. •Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on stock levels, goods movement, and dispatch performance. •Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase operational efficiency. Key Skills & Competencies •Strong experience in SAP (MM/WM) modules. •Knowledge of automotive parts, SKUs, and supply chain flow. •Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, scanners). •Good understanding of logistics documentation and GST compliance. •Analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. •Strong communication and coordination skills •ISO 9001, IATF Knowledge Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) •Zero accidents and statutory non-compliances. •Customer complaint resolution within specified time. •Improvement in safety and housekeeping scores.
