Description

Brauer Supply Company, an established Midwest regional multi branch wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment & supplies, as well as a wide variety of industrial products, is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to direct and administrate the warehousing and product transportation operations of our primary distribution hub located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position will report directly to the company’s Executive Committee. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of warehouse supervisory and fleet management experience, including a thorough understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations. The ability to multi task, prioritize demands, and see projects through from beginning to end, in a fast paced environment, is essential to success. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Hire, train, supervise, and schedule a warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions consistent with company policies and OSHA regulations.
2. Ensure that material is received and stored in efficient and economical manner maintaining records in accordance with company policy.
3. Supervise the proper preparation, loading, and routing of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with company policy.
4. Ensure that all inter-company stock transfers are executed efficiently and accurately.
5. Supervise and schedule maintenance of company property and delivery vehicles addressing both acute needs as well as preventative maintenance programs.
6. Make certain that our delivery fleet (semis, box trucks, cube vans, pickup trucks) is compliant and remains current with all applicable DOT regulations including safety inspections, licensing requirements, and haul tax filings.
7. Review, monitor, and maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes.
8. Participate in the planning and scheduling of inventory activities including cycle counting, the annual inventory count process, and any necessary auditing responses.
9. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, delivery, timeliness, and other Key Performance Indicators.
10. Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to deal positively with senior management, sales staff, employees, vendors, and customers.
