THE OPPORTUNITY -

The AH-64E Apache is the world’s most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Operations Lead, to support the AH-64E Apachehelicopter program. The Australian Apache’s will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
This role is based in the Apache Support Facility, Townsville working alongside the Army customer.

As the Warehouse Logistics Operations Lead, you will:

  • Be an integral part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
  • Analyse and lead in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
  • Analyse and develop compliance tools that link with ADF regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage and monitor defence supply chain delivery and financial performance
  • Lead and coordinate warehouse logistical operations encompassing governance and stocktaking
  • Analyse and lead the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the logistics operations
  • Analyse business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into the ASF supply chain operations
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated 10 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
  • A superior knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of
  • Capable of astute prioritisation of work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Team orientated and likes a challenge
