Description

Orion RED a manufacturer of trade show exhibits and retail store fixtures has an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager to handle the daily operations of the warehouse including shipping and receiving.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 Years of Managerial experience is required.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Have experience with computer-based inventory control systems.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide direct daily supervision to all warehouse associates. Ensure the warehouse is adequately staffed, managed, and trained.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped according to performance standards.
  • Ensure inventory is accurate and organized at all times by maintaining inventory levels, supervising physical counts and updating adjustments according to established policies.
  • Develop strategies to improve cycle count performance, stock check accuracy, aid in the reduction of inventory adjustments, and evaluate space utilization.
  • Work closely with purchasing and production to coordinate product movement and space allocation.
  • Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of warehouse environment and all goods.
  • Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and replacements when required.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and supply levels.
  • Manage daily activities of shipping functions. This includes coordinating the processing of incoming shipments and outgoing shipments, maintaining relationships with vendors, scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, and resolving transportation problems.
