Place UK are a British food manufacturer, providing solutions for retailers, manufacturing & co-packing to supplying the highest quality fresh & frozen ingredients.
We require an additional forklift driver to join our growing business.

· Loading and unloading of vehicles using appropriate MHE, as trained.
· Operating a forklift to accommodate storage of products within the cold store freezer.
· Ensure each pallet is secure for transit and labelled correctly.
·Communicating information regarding damages/returns and stock rotation to Management so that appropriate action can be taken
· Complete delivery/goods in notes and putting away stock in appropriate locations, and ensuring accurate records are maintained and recorded effectively
·Ensuring all relevant daily and weekly checks are completed on time and in full.
·Ensure accurate stock records are maintained for all warehouse stock including cold store, freezer and ambient (Dry) warehouses.
·Efficient operation and control of resources, by ensuring sufficient stock is available at appropriate locations.
·Work in accordance with safe practices and maintaining a clean and tidy area
·Carry out scheduled and unscheduled hygiene activity to ensure cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained at all times to agreed standards
·Ensure that storage and control of chemicals is carried out within environmental guidelines.
·Ensure that all cleaning activity is carried out in accordance with agreed methods using appropriate equipment and chemicals
·Follow prescribed systems of working that ensure, the safety of staff, the safety of the product and in accordance with customer specifications.
·Reporting of faults, non-compliances, process problems and poor product and equipment to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
·Any other factory duties or any other reasonable request as required.
