Summary
£31,350- £34,650 per annum | 30-35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme
Our maintenance team are always on the go, keeping our distribution centre and network of stores running smoothly by looking after our equipment, machinery, fixtures and fittings.
As a dedicated Maintenance Operative, you’ll take pride in making sure our warehouse stays in top condition, supporting your team with a can-do attitude, plenty of initiative and a flexible approach to working late shifts, nights and weekends. It’s a busy, dynamic work place, full of variety and fresh challenges.

What you’ll do

  • Manage, repair and service our fleet and update service schedules and records
  • Support all departments within our warehouse team
  • Sort issues and fix breakdowns efficiently
  • Problem solving and fault finding on a range of Mechanical Handling Equipment
  • Work alongside external contractors to complete complex maintenance tasks
  • Follow and encourage good working practices
  • Champion health and safety

What you’ll need

  • Relevant maintenance related qualifications and experience
  • Confidence working with mechanical equipment (PPT’s, LLOP’s and FLT’s)
  • Ability to work with hand tools and specialist lifting equipment
  • Motivation, positivity and initiative
  • A flair for multi-tasking to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • An eye for detail in a busy working environment
