    Warehouse Operations Supervisor -1st Shift  The role of the Operations Supervisor is to organize the storage and distribution of products. The Operations Supervisor will also be involved in transportation, strong quality control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of products. You will also lead a dynamic team and oversee all aspects of daily operations in a fast-paced environment. Our Team enjoys a comprehensive benefit package and competitive salary.  Major Responsibilities: * Manage Process flow * Continuous improve efforts * Ensure assembly capacity meets shipping schedules * Assist in coordinating inbound, outbound, and shuttle transportation functions * Coordinate with scheduling to meet customer demand * Ability to work with cross functional teams * Inventory Control and Cycle counts  * Work directly with team to maintain and improve damages, efficiencies, and processes.   * Maintain and Facilitate Safety Programs  * Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training, and safety records.   * Ability to manage 20 to 30 employees * Maintain staffing levels needed to meet obligations, including the screening and selection of qualified employees.    Position Summary:  The ideal candidate should possess the following: * Experience leading a team  * The ability to grow and develop employees * Exemplify the company culture and guide others to follow suit  * A willingness to seek continuous process improvements * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.  * Experience in planning and execution with excellent time management and organizational skills.  * The ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects  * Ability to work independently  * Computer Skills (word, excel, pay roll, and other programs) Education/Job Requirements * Three (3) to five (5) years of leadership experience required * One (1) year of leading other operations leaders (preferred)  * Excellent organizational written & oral communication skills    * Demonstrated success in problem solving  * Ability to drive work and achieve results   * Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)  * Knowledge and application of Lean, Six Sigma, and 6s Principles is a plus      Physical Requirements - Working conditions are normal for a light assembly and warehouse environment.  Custom Assembly is an Equal Opportunity Employer who participates in the E-Verify process.
