About the Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of our warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, team performance, customer service standards and operational efficiency remain at the highest level.

You will lead a team across receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch operations whilst working closely with our Operations, Purchasing and Sales teams.

This role requires a balance of leadership, organisation, problem-solving and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop warehouse staff
• Manage daily warehouse operations and workflow
• Oversee receivals, put-away, replenishment, picking and dispatch
• Ensure inventory accuracy through stock control processes and stocktakes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant warehouse environment
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and performance metrics
• Allocate resources to meet customer service and dispatch requirements
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations
• Support recruitment, training and performance management activities

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Leadership experience
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Experience managing inventory and warehouse operations
• Forklift licence
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong computer and warehouse system skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example

Desirable Experience

• Wholesale distribution experience
• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
• Inventory control and stock accuracy management
• Continuous improvement or Lean experience
• First Aid qualifications
