Description
Responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of items (F&B, FMCG, related items). Also, responsible for ensuring that the Warehouses are maintained in a safe, clean and organized manner as Euroland Supermarket’s predefined standards, policies and procedures. ₋ Develop strategic objectives and KPIs for the Warehouses in line with Euroland’s strategic goals and ensure that the Warehouse employees are working towards the achievement of these objectives. ₋ Review the operating results of the Warehouse and follow-up to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient results. ₋ Develop the Warehouse budget and maintain approved budget to ensure all Warehouse activities are within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities ₋ Develop and ensure the implementation of the Warehouse’s established policies and procedures and comply with Euroland Supermarket’s other policies. ₋ Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of Euroland’s policies, rules and procedures in coordination with the Direct Manager. ₋ Plan, manage and execute all warehouse related activities in line with Euroland’s predefined standards. ₋ Develop proper inventory planning techniques and maintain updated physical inventory records. ₋ Co-ordinate with the concerned departments to set the minimum and maximum levels for their products and spare parts inventory as well as the replenishment of stocks. ₋ Manage stock control including the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods, shipment loading & transferring, document recording and data entry into system. ₋ Ensure that the warehouse’s health and safety requirements are met and required security levels are attained at all times. ₋ Plan budget by providing forecasted requirements (e.g. identifying increases in supply based on increasing demand from Operations Department, or pursuit of warehousing developmental projects). ₋ Manage the negotiation of complex requests for material control, storage of equipment, or supplies in coordination with the concerned Department Managers. ₋ Manage the organizing process of the warehouse to ensure tidiness and accuracy in order to allocate items efficiently. ₋ Ensure that all items are stored in appropriate locations (e.g. meeting required temperatures and environmental conditions in order to prevent any possible damage. ₋ Facilitate the external auditors’ operations by fulfilling their requirements. ₋ Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager ₋ Investigate, manage inputs and recommend action to be taken when there are weaknesses in internal controls or compliance issue with set policies and procedures ₋ Identify manpower requirements and Coordinate with the Human Resources Department on all recruiting activities. ₋ Conduct annual employee performance appraisals of the Warehouses’ employees. ₋ Identify the needs of the Warehouses’ employees to ensure all relevant experience and knowledge is transferred to employees to ensure a highly skilled and high-performance workforce. ₋ Instruct and lead Warehouses’ employees through their daily activities and assist in their development of technical skills. ₋ Provide Warehouses’ employees with feedback on their performance to enable staff development ₋ Prepare and submit periodic reports to direct management pertaining to Warehouses activities and any issues that may arise. ₋ Prepare reports related to items that are slow moving, not being used or expired in order to authorize appropriate action. ₋ Bachelor in Business Management/ Supply Chain Management or a related field. ₋ Master’s in Business Management/ Supply Chain Management would be an advantage. ₋ Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the same field.
