REQUIREMENTS

• Over 5 years of stable warehouse management experience
• Able to manage unions and large teams
• Forklift licence and unrestricted driver’s licence (essential)
• Dangerous Goods License and experience
• Strong administration and organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Physically fit, hands-on, and always safety conscious and accountable
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Solid understanding of health & safety compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a well-established logistics and distribution business, is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead their Mt Wellington operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage a busy warehouse, oversee a team, and ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead warehouse staff and oversee inwards/outwards goods, stock management, and dispatch
• Ensure health, safety, and WHSE standards are met
• Drive process improvements and maintain KPIs and inventory control
• Manage suppliers, purchase orders, and freight coordination
• Oversee warranty, quarantine, waste management, and stock checks
• Train staff and maintain accurate reporting
