JOB OPPORTUNITY: WAREHOUSE MANAGER, CAVAGNA GROUP UK LTD

Location: Breaston, Derbyshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Annual Salary: £30 - £35k depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practises.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse management software (SAP would be advantageous).
• Current counterbalance and flexi forklift truck licences.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of implementation of, and adherence to Health and Safety best practices and legislation.

• Manage warehouse in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage warehousing team, overseeing warehouse, distribution and maintenance operations
• Ensure compliance with warehousing, health and safety and shipping legislation requirements.
• Ensure maintenance of security measures, hygiene and clean and tidy environment.
• Manage warehouse layout in order to ensure optimisation of space and efficient workflows.
• Manage stock control in ERP system including management and rotation of date sensitive products.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance procedures.
• Liaise with transport providers and customers in order to ensure cost and delivery efficiencies.
• Manage personal and department workload, prioritising as necessary
• Company Health and Safety and related staff training.
• Review maintenance requirements and obtain costings as required.
• Contribute to and assist with general warehouse activities as required.
