Description The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient, safe, and organized operation of the warehouse. This role oversees quality assurance processes, manages inventory flow, stages and loads orders, and ensures all incoming and outgoing materials meet company standards. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in maintaining accurate ingredient logs, proper product rotation, and a clean, well-maintained facility. This position is located in Waterloo, IA. Reports to: Plant Manager Workdays/Hours: 8am to 5pm Wage: Based on experience Key Functions: Quality Assurance Stage Orders Ingredient Logging Forklift work – Loading and unloading trucks Organization of warehouse to ensure inventory is rotated correctly Recording of lot tracking numbers for traceability needs General warehouse cleaning & maintenance of equipment Ensure quality standards are met on all incoming and outgoing products Tasks: Inventory reconciliation Quality assurance sampling Complete paperwork for ingredients received Unload and approve inbound ingredients Placement of ingredients in designated location Stage outbound product orders Load LTL/TL carriers Maintain neat and orderly warehouse Other various duties as assigned Benefits: Health insurance Health savings account with company contribution 401(k) with matching Dental insurance Vision insurance STD & LTD covered by company Employee assistance program Company paid Life insurance Voluntary Life, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Paid Holiday Paid time off Requirements Required Skills: Experience driving a forklift, or quick ability to be trained Proficient in reading and writing in English High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Desire to work in a fast paced and team driven environment Ability to lift, carry, drag, push and pull up to 75lbs on a regular basis as required Ability to bend and stoop frequently, squat, crawl and climb steps and ladders. Ability to reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull occasionally.
