DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: THE ROLE IS BASED WITHIN A PRISON. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDER-GO AN ENHANCED SECURITY VETTING PROCESS IF YOU ARE TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS POSITION.

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner’s lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Assisting the Regional Manager with the day-to-day running of the Warehouse Operation (based onsite at the Prison)
• To manage the day to day operations with a group of prisoners
• Management and the development of the Warehouse Supervisors , Team Leaders and Order Distributors
• To ensure accurate stock control for the warehouse
• To ensure operational KPI’s are met and exceeded
• Managing the site budget and identify possible cost savings
• Willing to support other sites when needed
• Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as Prison rules and regulations
• Maintaining training and induction packs for all staff members
