JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring efficient logistics, supervising staff, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and proficiency in warehouse management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within the supply chain sector.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations and best practices in warehousing.
  • Proficiency in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Utilise AS400 and other warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage orders effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including profit loss analysis, for senior management review.
