Description The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, storage, picking/packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods. This role ensures operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and on-time delivery performance while leading and developing warehouse staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to optimize warehouse processes, space utilization, and material flow to support production and customer commitments. Requirements Warehouse Operations & Logistics Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping Ensure all inbound and outbound materials are processed accurately and on schedule to meet production and delivery requirements Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time performance Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation processes Process Improvement & Material Flow Design and optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and overall material flow from raw materials to finished goods Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, throughput, and on-time shipping Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors, leads, and associates Plan staffing levels, schedules, and workforce allocation to meet operational demands Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Safety & Compliance Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Conduct regular safety audits, training sessions, and incident investigations Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to align inventory and shipping priorities Support production schedules by ensuring timely material availability Communicate operational updates, risks, and improvements to leadership Systems & Reporting Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory tools to manage operations Generate reports and analyze operational data to support decision-making Drive adoption of automation and technology to improve warehouse performance Other Duties Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of business objectives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Experience with inventory control, logistics, and shipping/receiving operations Proficiency with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety standards Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience in electronics, power systems, or manufacturing environments (aligned with EPC Power) Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or logistics-related certifications Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting in a warehouse setting May involve operating or supervising use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) Benefits 401(k) with company matching Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement EPC Power is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
